I am thrilled to join you for this study abroad program in Belize. I cannot wait to share my passion for this beautiful country with you.

As a former study abroad student myself, I understand the excitement that comes with studying in a new country. I had the opportunity to take a post-doctoral course on marine ecosystems in Belize, it was one of the most transformative experiences of my life! I studied at the Wee Wee Caye Marine Lab where mangroves surround the entirety of the island. I fell in love with the natural beauty of this amazing place, I know that you will too! I have continued to come back to this region over the past 17+ years, as a student, as a researcher and as a professor. As your program expert, it is my pleasure to share my education and experience with the next generation of students.
